So for anyone who has posted a project here and would like a page on the wiki, just register on the wiki and let me know and I will upgrade your account to a builder. This will allow you to create your own wiki page that will contain information about the module. There are some examples on the wiki of module pages.

Lariam: Thanks, I wasn't sure.

Styraxian: I registered there already, same name I believe.

Thanks styraxian. You said there's examples, so it shouldn't be hard. I've written something for a wiki not long ago, but it was a cut and paste job...eh, I'll figure it out.

I've got 2 completed projects over on the vault, and one that I am still tweaking -

nwn2 mod:
Night Howls in Nestlehaven:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view....Detail&id=151

cutscene tutorial:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view...s.Detail&id=65

sequencer rod:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view...s.Detail&id=26

My future projects - part 2 and maybe part 3 of NHiN. Reception of part1 has been pretty good, but my wife is kind of peeved at me for spending the past four months married to my computer! So I am not sure when I will get to part2 - probably not until after July 4th. I am also willing to take on a partner for the project, as I am not going to be able to devote nearly as much time to part 2 - the story arc is complete, but I could use help with area creation, npc dialogue backstory, new npc companions, scripting, minor-character dialogues and quests, and new devil-types.

So anyone who wants to partner up, let me know!

The general story-arc of part2 is as follows:

You (the player) have successfully resolved the issue of who was behind the murders of the Boroldi family members in Nestlehaven - and you now have a choice to make - which side do you align with in the coming conflict?

As it is written now (and it might change), you can choose amongst four factions:

1 > You can join with the Withers/Benelax/Mumpherys triad, and try and bring peace back to Nestlehaven, with either a restored Gillius or a new Boroldi family member as governor.

This would be the most logical choice for any good-aligned player. You won't have this option if you are an evil player.

2 > You can join the Boroldi family, and do everything in your power to put one of them into city hall.

This would be a good choice for either a neutral or good player. An evil aligned player could do it, but the RP opportunities would be somewhat limited.

3 > You can join the Bellerose family, but this is a very difficult one, as it is only available to you in very narrow, limited circumstances - after all, they are not thrilled with you, and have tried to have you killed several times. You will need to do some major damage to the Boroldi's interests to join this faction - and you will have the chance! They offer the best pay.

A good choice for a neutral or evil character that is law aligned.

4 > You can join with Vask, and assist Malcanthet's cult-members in establishing a totally sadistic, chaotic society in Nestlehaven.

An obvious choice for an evil character that is not law aligned, or a neutral/chaotic player.

There is no choice for siding with Baator. I thought about it, but it wouldn't make sense, as they are your primary enemy in part1.

The mod will once again use the city of Nestlehaven as the 'hub' for all the quests, so thankfully I don't need to redo it. The sidequests that were open to you in part1, are no longer available. New city doors and doors that were locked in part1, will now be accessible in part2.

There will be at least one new major outdoor area (outdoor areas often crash on my computer, so my choices are limited in this until Obsidian stabilizes the toolset). There will be several new indoor areas, including the church outside of town, the Boroldi family temple and the catacombs, a new extension to the Sage Tower and Merris' basement (the forces of Baator successfully re-open the portals, and the previously blocked passageway in Merris' basement gets cleared), the giant cave in the Kryptgarden will be explored, the Bellerose family tombs, the Bellerose Vault and Armoury (the impressive looking fortress building next-door to the Temple of Tyr), and several others. I left nine doors as 'static' or 'locked needs key' in part1 that will now be open for side-quests/robberies/surprises in part2. And I've still got two alleyways left to populate with side quest encounters! ;>

Gameplay will be shorter - approx 3 hours - but build-time will be longer, as I am in a sense building 4 separate story-arcs.

If I find I am really really falling behind on time, I would consider axing one of the factions - but I don't know which. I think it would have to be the Bellerose - they pretty much oppose you all the way through part1, so losing them might not be such a big-deal. We shall see.

Thanks for indulging me!

Hello all, I'm beginning my (hopefully FRW Compliant) module.

The Journey
Level 1+

Specific locations undetermined (anyone have a spare map of the Forgotten Realms?)

It will be a pretty basic adventurer's delight, including persistant companions that you can take into other modules that support that feature. I'm most likely going to have a few "save the Village" adventures in it, but beyond that I'm really not sure.

Currently planning it, and would love to have a hand with scripting and story writing.

As you are about to embark on your journey of module building, might I suggest reading this little post here: http://nwcitadel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=826

Contains some basic information about the FRW and where various things are placed for it.

On that note - welcome to the Citadel (I know I am a bit late, but have been busy with work past few months...) and the FRW project. As you have probably already experienced, most people here are more than willing to help out so just give a general shout and see what happens.

Welcome to the citadel Akkei and the FRW project! I have set you up for builder access to the wiki so you can add a page for your module if you want. And if you feel like blog'n about your module, you can also do it there. =)

You have a cool idea for a module and I look forward to giving it a whirl, now that I actually have time to play around with the game.
